It's almost 3am... already?
In the recent days, I've noticed that more people are starting to hide themselves behind 'cliches', behind the same ole lines that we only say to 'feel better' about ourselves. It must be that time of year. Everyone 'pretends' to be something that they are not and as soon as the presents are unwrapped then their true face shows.
Though, I suppose that sorta thing happens all year round. It just seems to me, more frequent, in this 'season of commericalism and folly'.
I want the next three days to happen as quickly as they can, esp tomorrow. I have a 20 min presentation for my Issues class tomorrow night and while I am prepared for it, I don't feel all that comfortable speaking in front of my classmates.. which is all of eight people, not including the professor.
I expect to get an A in there overall, my current average is a 96%.
My current average in Med Term II is a 98%
(yes out of 100%.. insane, isn't it?:-p)
My current average in Records Managment is an 80%, but hopefully, I'll do well enough on the final to bring that up five points and then it would become a B instead of a C+.
Next semester, I am already looking forward too, in a morbid, car-crash kind of way. Not looking forward to the math class, looking forward to the team leadership class, looking forward to Excel, but again, not looking forward to that gods-awful speed and skillbuilding class. I withdrew from that class once. I can't do it again. It's very tedious. I type 107 wpm.. how much more skillful can I become? It's just so boring... well beyond boring.. I'm looking forward to math class more than I am speed and skillbuilding... which is more hair-pulling and throwing tantrums ...but I suppose there is a certain amount of skill involved in that.
Two of my classes are once a week night classes, one is online and the other is twice a week in the middle of the day.
I figured, if I get all my class on the same days, then I'll have more time in the week to study.
So, we'll see how that goes.
Wednesday will be a big day, last day of my Finals!
And... G is flying in!
I'm utterly excited and I'll make sure he has a good time:)

Yeh, that time again.
It has been a long time since I blogged. So, let's start with an update:
Finished the Spring semester with an A in Marketing and an A in Management.
Went on a road trip to NC with A, before leaving the following week to Leeds, England.
I am currently still in England as I will not be leaving to go back to Knoxville for Aug 1.
Whilst I have been here, I have done the following activities:
Mother Shipton's Cave
White Scar Cave
DnB gig at The Warehouse and saw: Technical Itch, Venetian Snares, DJ Scotch Egg, Ceephax
Which was a very very good show! Got there at 11pm and left around 3:30am.
Alright, that is pretty much what has been happening so far in a nutshell.
More later, prolly.

I withdrew!!
I withdrew from Speed and Skillbuilding. The weight of that one class, not that it was difficult but that it was so utterly pointless for someone of my already excellent skill in typing. I mean seriously, I type a net 102wpm. Yes, there are other things involved such as formats, tables and document structure, but isn't that what Google is used for... to google these things up?
Well, I only have two classes now: Marketing and Management. So, I'll be able to concentrate on them and work towards the A that I want in both.
I'm just sitting here in the lab, waiting for 12:30 to roll around.
There is a 'Marketing Relations' seminar that if I attend and stay awake for two hours, then five extra credit points will be given. Considering what I made on the first exam in there, which was one of the highest scores at a 65%, then yes, I'll sit on my ass for five extra points.
I have a marketing project due on March 2.
I like my marketing class, it's quite entertaining. I think it's rather nifty to learn about non-verbal communication and verbal communication. After knowing what I know now, I realise just how nice of a person I acutally am.
'Thank you.'
'You are welcome.'
Most people will say a return 'thank you' when they are 'thank you'ed. But no one really says: 'You are welcome.'
So, do something different and says, 'You are welcome' when someone 'Thanks you'.
Bah. I'm peckish and I have no cash on me. If I use my card, they'll charge me .25 cents extra. it's 12:05.
I'll be sitting for two hours, with a rumbling tummy, if I do not grab something now.
But... campus cafe food....
mmmm.
Well.
I'll just have the shits later.
bye for now!

The Cost of College Books and Murder!
After the expected disappointment of Med Term II being canceled, due to people perfering to take it online, C and I went and re-registered. This semester will be easy so I will not be as stressed about classes as I was last semester with Med Term I.
I really do not see the point of online classes. To me, it defeats the whole purpose of being enrolled in college. What I do not like most about it, is that when they cancel traditional classes and 'pump up' the online classes, so if you really need to take a certain class in a semester, then the only choice you have is to take it online, which is a kind of 'force' that does not sit well with me. I need to see the instructor, I need to hear the instructor.. I don't need to sit at a computer clicking buttons whilst looking at my book and then trying to figure out how, who, when, why, and what the fuck? I'd much perfer to do that in class... at least that way other people can experience my real life witticisms:-p
So, I'll just take Med Term II in the fall, the chances of it being offered traditionally will be higher.
While out with C, we went to Big Lots. I like going to Big Lots, but I utterly hate using their restrooms. But, I really had to go, my spinchter was not behaving as I would have hoped. I walk in, I am disgusted at the sight of the stalls, and so in protest, I left a rather disgusting sight of my own. They really should sort their plumbing out.
Let's see... what else... oh, speaking of disgusting, guess how much my books were?
$100? Nooo. $250?. Hahaha, noooo! $371.00 that is for five books, and only two of them being used. Appalling! And when I go to sell them back, I won't get nearly that much back. Gay.
In the local news there is a story about a double murder that happened here in, Knoxville.
Aprntly, it stemmed from a young white couple in a resturant and one of the suspects approaching the white female, trying to hit on her. The suspects were asked to leave the resturant. Once they left, they waited for the young couple and followed them, car jacked them, kidnapped the girl, kept her for two days, raping and torturing her and killed her, leaving her body in the kitchen trash can. The young white man was found burned to death in the car, which was also burned. Mom told me the gory details after the shit hitting the fan uptown over it last night, where they had one in custody. All government acronymal departments were present. Last night was when it was found out there there were four 'suspects' instead of just two. In summary, the entirity of it is utterly disgusting.
I suppose that Knoxville isn't as safe as it used to be.
