Farewell
I'm going away, to a place where there is no Internet.
I'm going away, to a place where there is no phone.
I'm going away, to a place where there are no people around that can harm me, either emotionally or mentally.
I'm going away, to a place and it will prolly be either for a while, a very long time or permantely.
Either way, I'm going away and it's best that I'm on my own.
Bye.

The cost of Gas and the thighs of Men.
A and I were driving back from shopping and she started the topic of talking about her bf, C's body:
"C needs to gain weight, esp around his waist because he's too skinny. I like a little meat on my man. Like, his thighs are thick longwise, but not wide... you know like mine."
"Yeah, I can understand that. I have wide thighs and G has thighs like tree trunks, but I wish he had a bit more muscle in his arms."
As she was driving us along there was this muscle man with thick thighs riding in front of us on his harley. A points out:
"See, like him in front of us, he looks rather juicey."
I reply with:
"Oooo... 263!"
"What? Is that how much you think he weighs?"
"No, that is how much the gas is at that gas station we just passed. That's the cheapest I've seen in Knoxville."
"Hope, when you start paying more attention to gas prices instead of that hunk of good looking man on that Harley in front of us... something is def wrong!"
"Well, yes, I agree, something is wrong and it's not that Harley man, it's me getting excited over gas being $2.63 a gallon!!!!!!"
"That reminds me, there is this guy who comes around to mow the lawns at the apartments, he's deaf, but he's very very cute and I always go out to my car to get something just to take a look at him."
"I wonder how much he pays for the gas he puts in his lawn mower."
"HOPE!!!!"
"What?"
So, the next time you see a thick thighed man, ask him where he gets his gas and how much he pays for it.;)

My gods! So much to chose from and so little time!
I'm amazed at how much larger people have become in this country (America). It must be all that High Fructose Corn Syrup. I think I only saw one skinny person while out and about today.
I gased up Byron the other day, only took $25. It's nice having a non SUV vechicle, much better gas milage and I don't need a manual to understand my dashboard.
The gocercy stores overwhelm me, so much choice. Instead of having the regular Diet Coke, they now have Diet Coke with Splenda. I still perfer the British soft drinks which don't contain high fructose corn syrup. But the only soft drink that doesn't change much from continent to continent is Diet Dr. Pepper, mmmm must be all that 'pepper';)
Speaking of choice, I investagated the Ice Cream section of Kroger, I thought I could handle sampling all of Mayfields new products, but after trying the Blueberry Pie ice cream (which tastes like Blueberry Cheesecake), I thought it best to let my taste buds ponder on it for a while.... as the rest of me walks it off!
If you are on a diet, don't visit the states. If you don't want to gain weight, no matter how high or low your metablism is, don't visit the states. But, if you are on the skinny side, the states is a great place to find your size clothing, cause no one else can fit them! And after seeing all the new products that are being sold in the stores, then well... no wonder about the latter and former for that matter!

I'm leaving on an AirBus 333
Well, I'm off very soon!
I wasn't as excited before as much as I am now.
I've been using the Pony Room as the packing room and I have to say that I'm rather tempted to bump a shelf and send some ponies flying down to land safely in my suitcase.
....But, yes, I must resist the urge, because I still have a shitload at my mother's house.
However, one pony couldn't hurt... I mean, for 'stress' reliving purposes....I could just sneak P or IC into my purse and stroke their very silky and uncut mane....No, I can't do that, because then I'll worry about the possibility of losing them. And even though I have these ponies duplicated, I wouldn't want anyone else to have them, so they can stay at home with the rest of the ponies.
Ten days ago, I was determined to lose a couple of pounds before leaving the country. I weighed myself this morning and was utterly thrilled that I surpassed my goal! I lost just a little over half a stone!
This is the last day that I'll be on my period. It was six days early this month, which is a good thing, because being on one's period and traveling is not a very enjoyable experience.
I'm going to miss G so terribly much. But, I might miss THOR even more:/
I have no idea, why I can never look forward to the good bits and always jump ahead to the bad bits and start stressing out about them.
Bugger.

Sandal Castle
At the week-end, we went to Sandal Castle in West Yorkshire. The bailey fortress was very impressive, very deep. Even though the 'castle' is more ruins than actual castle, there is still enough there to be enjoyed, like the view of the lake down the hill.

The above is a Motopic, not much light, but still, a very likeable picture.
